Browser test in Ubuntu MATE! - Firefox vs Chromium - Chromium is better FOR YOU!

I hate it when people declare something "better" because they prefer it, that doesn't mean it is better for everyone or even better in general . . . especially if your only metrics are load times and page scrolling.

Firefox scrolling is fantastic for me actually, completely smooth. If that is the only problem you have with it then I don't get it.

More importantly Chrome/ium is bloated as all hell. Load up just 10-15 tabs in Chrome and then 50 in Firefox. Firefox will be taking up less resources even with that drasticly different amount of tabs. Load up 50 tabs in Chrome/ium and it will be using about 90% of your RAM.

What kind of machine do you have? Hardware specs I mean. That could also be a factor.
- Disabling Smooth Scrolling in Preferences/Advanced helps alleviate lag for me. This is on all my machines, even my personal build with a quad core and 8 gigs of RAM.
