Firefox 37 Review 2015 - UPDATE: Further to publishing this video, I just wanted to post an update regarding the Firefox browser crashes I was experiencing when running the Peacekeeper browser benchmark test. After some investigating, the issue seems to bee with WebGL. I was able to disable and run Peacekeeper. Overall, the performance of Firefox dropped based on the results compared to Firefox 36. Though, Firefox did better than Google Chrome. I was told that the issue will be fixed in Firefox 38 which will be out in May 2015.
- I just had my peacekeeper test using firefox and it didn't crash.
- Firefox 37 is out - it is the latest rapid release from Mozilla that was released on March 31, 2015. It does come with several changes and improvements, but you probably won't notice them from the front-end.

Firefox Heartbeat is a new user-voice rating/feedback system that Mozilla has introduced in Firefox 37. It is Mozilla's way of showing commitment to their user-base. Hopefully, users will make good use of it and provide constructive feedback to continue improving Firefox.

I could not run the Peacekeeper browser benchmark test to check performance of Firefox 37 because the browser kept crashing on me. I had no issues running the browser test on Google Chrome. I have reported the issue to Mozilla, so I will try and run the test at a later date. I was not too impressed with this update, so hopefully Mozilla will look into some of the issues and release an revised update.

Not all your add-ons (extensions) will be compatible with Firefox 37, so you may want to wait for a few days before updating your browser.

- Do ever happen to enjoy from Apple Safari browser? It's something chilly, right?
- 37.0.1 just came out (or, more rather, I was just able to get it). I wonder if it has fixed some of the bugs you were not happy with?

Great video as always by the way.
- CCleaner and Defraggler + to it.
what else could make you so happy now!

...and ImgBurn, a wonderful program for that use - CD/DVD-burning.
CDBurnerXP is an alternative to it. Though, ImgBurn is for Windows 7 as well.
- info, info, info.
Thanks.
- Right on point.
Seems like just yesterday your review on the previous version of Firefox came out.

Update (16-Apr-2015): After working with some experts in the Firefox support forum, I tried various solutions to determine why Firefox was crashing every time I ran Peacekeeper. Finally, I decided to disable WebGL and I was able to run the browser benchmark test. They say this issue will be fixed in Firefox 38.

Based on the results of the test, Firefox 37.0.1 out-performed Google Chrome with scores of 2,477 vs 1,988. However, the overall Firefox score was lower than the last update version FF36.
